Late Cancellation

This practice provides a unique clinical experience, and we value the depth of the relationships we build with the people we serve. To that end, we generally spend significantly more time during each patient visit than is standard in health care today.

We require a least 24 hours notice for cancellations, so that we may offer that appointment to another patient in our community. The 24 hour notice excludes weekend hours. If you need to cancel an appointment for Monday, please call or text before your appointment time by Friday.

The charge for missed appointment or late cancellation is:

• $60 for a visit scheduled for 30 minutes or less – generally appointments for new problems or follow up of previous problems

• $100 for time-intensive visits – feeding evaluations, physical exams, well child exams, and after hours appointments

These charges will not be covered by your insurance plan and are billed directly to you.

After Hours

We cover call for our own practice. We strive to balance accessibility to our patients with our commitments to our own families. If it’s after hours and your question is urgent and you need to wake up a doctor, call 206-203-2509 and press 4 to be connected. There is a $75 charge for after hours calls (waived for babies under 8 weeks and those who received a frenotomy in the last day).
