Schedule Appointment

Masks required. Please bring a mask. If you get a mask from us, please keep it for future visits!

For all in-person appointments, if at all possible, please limit attendance to the patient and healthy caregiver(s). Sick parents and siblings should stay home. Let us know if you want a Zoom link for another caregiver to participate in the visit.

Please verify insurance benefits before scheduling.

Now accepting transfer patients! Looking for a new pediatric PCP? Ankith Donthi ARNP is accepting new patients for primary care (along with behavioral/mental health)! Please see instructions for transferring care. Dr Kass will continue accepting new infants under 1 year old. Having received vaccines here does not establish care and we cannot provide sick or well visits if you are not an established patient.

Sick? We are keeping back time each day to see sick kiddos. If you don’t see a suitable appointment below, please text us.

Samy Kunze Garcia ARNP is filling in while Ankith is on vacation! Welcome, Samy!

Appointment types

Infant Feeding:

Infant feeding evaluation (tongue/lip tie, frenotomy) – evaluation of suspected tongue and/or lip tie, or evaluation of feeding difficulties. This is a 60-minute visit to both evaluate and treat (release the tongue/lip ties). Please be on the lookout for a text message and/or email asking you to register and fill out forms ahead of the appointment. Please check the infant feeding webpage for information about insurance. If your baby is younger than 2 weeks old and you cannot find a spot within a week, please schedule an appointment and then message us and we'll figure out how to move up the appointment and get them seen sooner.

Milk supply – help with low milk supply, primarily counseling about medication. This is a parent-side visit only and does not include evaluation of baby, so if you have concerns about baby’s latch, or tongue or lip tie, please schedule an infant feeding evaluation instead. Telehealth/video only.

Induce lactation – for people who are not pregnant but want to induce lactation. Telehealth/video only.

Infant feeding follow-up (in person) – follow up for babies who received a frenotomy procedure

Infant feeding follow-up (telemedicine/video) – follow up for babies who received a frenotomy procedure but live too far away to return to the clinic

ADHD and mental health (link)

new patient, second opinion only:

Second opinion - for a family desiring a second opinion or naturopathic perspective on a specific issue. This does not establish care as a primary care patient. You must text the office (206-203-2509) in advance of scheduling this appointment.

Classes:

Newborn consultation/class — Do you have questions about pregnancy vaccines, vaccines your baby can receive, newborn procedures like vitamin K, or deciding about circumcision? Longer than a meet and greet, this visit is billed under baby’s insurance, or a parent’s insurance if baby is not yet born. Telehealth/video only.

Primary care, new patient:

Newborn first office visit — first office visit for a newborn. Please bring discharge paperwork from the hospital, parent’s insurance card, and all your questions!

New well baby/well child – routine preventive care for a new patient who is not a newborn. If your child received care at a different practice and has any pre-existing medical diagnoses or sees any specialists, we require records before their first appointment. Please request records and know that it can take several weeks for records to be received. If you’re having trouble getting records and they do not have pre-existing medical diagnoses, please include your goals for the visit so we can determine if we can see your child before their records arrive.

Establish care, not a well baby/child visit – or to establish care when child is not due for a well child visit. If your child receives care at a different practice and has any pre-existing medical diagnoses or sees any specialists, we require records before their first appointment. Please request records and know that it can take several weeks for records to be received. If you’re having trouble getting records and they do not have pre-existing medical diagnoses, please include your goals for the visit so we can determine if we can see your child before their records arrive. If relevant, please request records be sent ahead of the appointment.

Primary care, returning patient:

Problem visits - not infectious - these visits are fine to do in person, and include problems like eczema, urinary tract infection, constipation, behavior problems. For chronic or involved problems, please try your best to schedule with your PCP.

Problem visits - fever, cough, diarrhea, vomiting - potentially infectious visits are available at certain times of the day. These include visits for runny nose, cough, goopy eyes, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.

Telehealth/video visits - still available when appropriate!

Well baby/well child – routine preventive care, including vaccines if due.

Vaccine only (with medical assistant) – vaccine-only visit with the medical assistant. If you would prefer the doctor give the vaccines, or have questions about the vaccines or what’s due, please message us.
