Dr Bly Says Goodbye

Note from Dr Kass: we are super bummed about Dr Bly’s departure — she’s been such an asset to our practice and we are so lucky she’s been commuting so far for so long! Both Christa and myself are happy to provide ongoing care to her patients, and we will have another provider joining soon as well. If families want to follow Dr Bly, we are happy to facilitate records transfer.

Dear Intergalactic Pediatrics community and patients,

I am writing to inform you of my upcoming departure from Intergalactic Pediatrics, with my last day being January 12th , 2023. I will be going on an early maternity leave for my second child and then relocating to another practice closer to home. It has been an honor working with you and your families for the last three and a half years and I have so valued my time at this clinic. I know you will be in good hands with my colleagues at Intergalactic Pediatrics, including the newest provider to join the team, Christa Kleiner, ARNP.

Unfortunately, I was the only provider contracted with Cigna. The rest of the Intergalactic Pediatric team has made the difficult decision to not contract with Cigna going forward. This is because of extremely low reimbursement rates and a high level of paperwork to obtain approvals for basic patient care. Existing Cigna patients will need to re-enroll with another insurance carrier, pay out of pocket for continued care, or find care at another pediatric practice.

I will be available for appointments and messages through January 12 th , 2023 if you wish to connect before my transition.
