This group session brings together families entering this next phase of Intergalactic travel to learn about the peculiarities of juvenile Earthlings.

Topics include:

  • Transplacental pipeline: pre-stocking your juvenile with antibodies produced in your own immune system

  • Newborn procedures including vitamin K, eye ointment, critical congenital heart defect screening, hearing screening, hepatitis B vaccine

  • Nutrient access modalities including breast and bottle

  • How to tell when your juvenile is actively drinking

  • Stool passage and skin integrity

  • Normal behavior for juvenile Earthlings across the dayspan: sleeping and other hobbies

  • Complications of the newly born including jaundice, weight loss, eye discharge

We are putting together monthly Zoom classes for parents-to-be to get important information on how to confidently care for their newborns. We are hoping to bill them to the parent’s insurance.
